We are focusing on attendance and punctuality in St Joseph's College from February to May in our campaign called " The Strive for 5".
The main points of this campaign are :
1) We are asking all students to make a conscious effort to be in school for roll call at 8.37am.
2) If a student is absent for Roll call at 8.37am they will be marked as "Late" and an accumulation of 4 Lates = a Friday detention.
3) If a student is absent for a genuine reason then this will be taken into account once the student has signed the "Late Book"
4) Please note that traffic around the school is normally heavy from 8.20 - 9am due to both Primary and Secondary schools drop offs. Please factor this into your journey to arrive on or before 8.37am
5) Attendance and punctuality awards will be announced each month
